The First Colonial Patriot Percussion Ensemble is a cocurricular ensemble open to all musicians in the FCHS Performing Arts Department. The Patriot Percussion Ensemble is a competitive ensemble, competing in the Atlantic Indoor Association (AIA) & Winter Guard International (WGI) circuits locally, regionally, & nationally. The Patriot Percussion Ensemble rehearses multiples times per week November-April to learn a show, competing in the Scholastic Concert Percussion class at events. Since formation, the PPE has established a tradition of excellence in AIA class competition & won AIA North Championships in 2019, 2020, & 2022
